Pigpark in Korea

Updated: Feb 21

An extraoinkidinary museum in Icheon, South Korea tells the history and story of pigs with a display of more than 7,000 pieces of artwork about a pig.

The Pigpark has become popular and is now a tourist attraction in Korea, offering chances not only to feed and touch pigs but also to experience pig performances and hands-on sausage making programmes.

2019 is known to be "The Year of the Pig" in Korea based on the Chinese Zodiac--with that aspect, the number of visitors in January 2019 was 30% higher than that of the same period last year according to the interview of Lee Jong-young, curator of the museum, with WTVY.
